Today we went to a new theme park in our town. Well, it's the only theme park in Bogor. It's called the Jungle Water Park. It is one of several recreation sites at Bogor Nirwana Residence area, developed by Bakrie Land Group.

Entry ticket is a modest Rp. 30.000 per person. It's quite cheap compared to other water parks in Indonesia. You will get 1 Green RFID tag (they called it smart card) which you wear as a bracelet. You can buy credits which will be linked to the ID stored in this tag. The minimum amount of the credits is Rp. 50.000, if I remember correctly. You can buy coins for locker, swimming float rings, foods and drinks using this credit.
It was a fun time with the kids. A much needed break for the family, if only just for a couple of hours.

A mark in the right hand! Well it's not the mark of the Beast, but 'Jungle' is close enough... he he he! FYI: It's the RFID tag used to purchase anything around the 'The Jungle' area. No transaction can be made without this mark... I mean tag. ;-) (cf Rev 13:16-17)

RFID!!! Oh no... the end of the world is near!!! Save your self! :-)
Um... the green plastic beans is the RFID tag. The black boxy thing is the RFID reader/scanner.

Deer Clown... why there's always clowns in theme parks?

BTW: Deers seems to be the 'official' animal at 'Bogor Nirwana Residence', the location of 'The Jungle Water Park'
It's always exciting to go to theme park, especialy water parks. The contrasting colors, blue water, children laughings. Too bad it was a bit windy and cloudy when we got there.
We don't have any swimming pictures because we stash the camera in the locker... don't ask why ... it was... umm.... complicated :-)
Me and 'Jojo'

Sausage + French Fries + Salad = Rp. 25.000.... Next time we'll bring our own food!

The food court is big, but I think it won't hurt if they add more chairs.

The tube is definitely one of the main features at the Jungle. It puts you in a high speed slide, twisting, turning completely in the DARK and then make sure you're wet afterward. Not for the faint of heart!

The main stage where they perform live music. The sun setting behind mount Salak. BTW: The empty area with fountains is the futsal (mini soccer) area, it will be interesting to see if they can keep the ball on the ground :-)

Jesse, Jojo & Gaby

My angel Gabriela. She is currently a big fan of High School Musical's Gabriella Montez!

The big bucket in the background pours huge amount of water to the waiting crowd below.
